Creative Endeavors: Chocolate Strawberries

Macy and I made these chocolate strawberries for her class. They are easy and delicious. Wash and gently pat dry 1 quart of strawberries. We used small berries for easy eating. In microwave heat 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips with with 2-3 tablespoons cream (half-n-half or milk will work too) for 30 second intervals stirring in between until melted. Dip bottom (edible part!) of strawberry in melted chocolate, then dip in sprinkles, mini chocolate chips or coconut. Set on wax paper to cool. Store covered in refrigerator.

No worries, if the chocolate doesn’t melt consistantly, go with it: you’ll be covering them with sprinkles, mini chocolate chips or coconut anyway.
