The Flying Fish Blog will be taking a break for the summer. There is a lot of life to live, so that’s what we are going to do. While we are off enjoying life, we will continue to ponder the journey and report back beginning August 20, 2012.
We are also accepting submissions for future posts. While we intend for the blog to be informative and educational, we are not looking for intellectual jargon. We are looking for honest, authentic perspectives. We would like for you to contribute whatever you feel inspired to contribute, and to write about subjects in which you are knowledgeable. Although we do not pay for submissions, (there are currently no advertisements on the site), this is a way for your voice to be heard. We will include links back to your website or any other basic information that helps get the word out about what you are doing.
Possible topics include: conscious awareness, inspiration, gratitude, mindfulness, creativity, dreams, sprititual awakening, environemental awareness, living with intention, the law of attraction, conscious and intentional parenting, living with passion and purpose, health and wholeness, holistic living, and wisdom. Chosen entries will include personal stories; engaging photographs and videos; instructions for creative endeavors; inspiring books, movies and people; and instructions for mindfulness exercises.
If you are interested in becoming a contributor, please send submissions to firstname.lastname@example.org. Each submission should include the writing in its complete form, photographs and videos that you would like included and a short (3 sentence max) bio with contact information and/or link to your blog or website if you would like. Writings may be edited to fit the structure of the blog. We will make every effort to maintain the integrity of your original work. Submission deadline is August 6, 2012.
